Barcelona have confirmed that Dani Olmo suffered a dislocated shoulder during Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid.
The Spain star scored Barcelona’s second goal but was then forced off after landing awkwardly and injuring his shoulder.
Olmo has now undergone tests and is set to miss the next month of action for Barcelona.
Here’s the club’s statement:
“INJURY NEWS The first team player Dani Olmo suffered a dislocated left shoulder in the game on Tuesday against Atlético Madrid. After tests, it has been decided to follow a conservative course of treatment. Recovery time is approximately one month.”
The news means that Olmo will definitely miss Barca’s remaining games of 2025 against Real Betis, Eintracht Frankfurt, Osasuna and Villarreal.
Barcelona return to action in 2026 against Espanyol in La Liga on January 3rd and then jet out to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup and a semi-final tie with Athletic Club on January 7th.
