Robert Lewandowski’s future continues to make headlines as the veteran Barcelona striker heads towards the end of his current contract and free agency.
AC Milan have already been mentioned as admirers, and it’s now been reported the Serie A giants would love to bring in Lewandowski in the January transfer window.
Sportitalia say that Lewandowski’s name keeps on popping up in Milan as he’s seen as being the type of player who, like summer signing Luka Modric, can bring the experience and personality needed at San Siro.
However, a winter move is said to be “unlikely” as Barcelona aren’t in a position to bring in a replacement midway through the season and will instead wait until next summer.
As for Lewandowski, he’s said this week that he’s not thinking too much about the future right now and is instead focused on trying to ensure Barcelona enjoy another successful campaign.
