Dani Olmo forced off with shoulder injury for Barcelona against Atletico

Barcelona lost yet another player to injury on Tuesday during their La Liga match with Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou.

Dani Olmo was forced off just after the hour after hurting his shoulder while scoring the goal that put Barcelona 2-1 up in the match.

The Spain star fell heavily after netting a brilliant finish but couldn’t continue afterwards. He was spotted grimacing and holding his shoulder as he walked off the pitch.

We’ll have to wait and see how serious the injury is for Olmo, but he certainly appeared to be suffering as he went off.

Barcelona are back in action against Real Betis at the weekend in La Liga and then face Eintracht Frankfurt next week in the Champions League.

Hansi Flick is also without Fermin Lopez at the moment due to injury, although Frenkie de Jong should be available again at the weekend after missing the Atletico game with a fever.
