Hamza Abdelkarim eager to make Barcelona move as talks continue with Al-Ahly

Hamza Abdelkari is reportedly really keen to make the switch to Barcelona this winter as talks about a possible transfer continue with Al-Ahly.

The Catalan giants have been repeatedly linked with a move for Abdelkarim and want the young Egypt star to link up with Barcelona Atletic for the rest of the season.

Barcelona are yet to agree a deal for the teenager but the latest update from Fabrizio Romano claims negotiations are continuing.

There had been talk that Abdelkarim would move on loan with a purchase option of around €4 million. However, a new report from Sport claims Al-Ahly want double that amount.

The word is that Barcelona hvae been asked for €2 million and a further €6 million in performance-based variables. Al-Ahly are also keen to add a clause that will see them earn 20% of any future transfer, another factor that has apparently not gone down well with Barcelona.
