Hansi Flick feels ‘worn out and helpless after ‘tough week’ at Barcelona

Hansi Flick has been spotting looking close to tears despite seeing his Barcelona side beat Alaves 3-1 on Saturday in La Liga.

The Barcelona boss was captured on video talking to Raphinha and appeared to be very emotional after the game at Camp Nou.

According to Cope, the reason is that “it’s been a very tough week for Hansi Flick after the defeat in London” and “he’s worn out, feels helpless.”

The report adds that Flick feels “the team isn’t responding like last season and has a lot [of stress] built up.”

Barcelona returned to the top of the table with victory against Alaves as they bounced back from a disappointing defeat in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge.

Flick sounded bullish after seeing his team beaten by Chelsea, insisting after the game that his team will improve particularly as players return from injury.

Yet the images of Flick after the game against Alaves are worrying and suggest the boss really is feeling the pressure of his job right now.
