Harry Kane rules out Barcelona move despite speculation – report

Harry Kane continues to shine for Bayern Munich, netting 22 goals across all competitions this season and helping his team maintain a strong start in both the Bundesliga and European tournaments. With an UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain looming, the English striker remains at the center of transfer rumors.

Speculation had previously linked Kane to a move to FC Barcelona, but the latest gossip says it may not actually be in the cards.

A new report from Fichajes.net indicates that Kane has little interest in a Camp Nou transfer, despite the club’s desire to find a top-level striker similar to replace Robert Lewandowski. Barcelona’s approach envisions Kane as a key figure for their attack, but the player may not be willing to move. Publicly, he has emphasized his commitment to Bayern. “I would consider [staying.] I haven’t had those conversations yet with Bayern, but if they come up, I would be willing to talk,” Kane said.

At 32 years old, Kane remains at peak performance, and his contract with Bayern runs until 2027, including a release clause around 65 million euros. While this makes him accessible in theory, his preference appears to be either staying in Munich or returning to the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur mulled as a possible destination. For Barcelona, pursuing Kane would require not only meeting financial demands but also offering sporting ambition, first-team prominence, and a clear path to European success. Even then, Kane may simply prefer to stay where he is comfortable.
