Lionel Messi may no longer be a Barcelona player but his love for the club is still evident and has been on show once again as the family celebrate eldest son Thiago’s birthday.
Thiago is now officially a teenager and Messi and wife Antonela have been showing off some pictures of the celebrations on social media.
Messi Jr is pictured wearing a Barca shirt, with a giant inflatable bearing the Barca crest also being featured, along with a birthday cake shaped like Camp Nou.
“How wonderful it is to celebrate you, Thiagui! We love you so, so much,” is the message from Messi and Antonela.
The Messis currently reside in Miami still, with Leo having just extended his contract with the MLS side through to the 2028 season.
It’s not clear yet what Messi will do after that, but he has previously stated his desire to return home to Barcelona at some point in the future.
