‘It ain’t gonna stop me’ – Dani Olmo sends out message to Barcelona fans after injury setback

Dani Olmo has sent out a defiant message after being ruled out through injury for Barcelona after dislocating his shoulder in the win over Atletico Madrid.

The Spain star scored Barcelona’s second goal in the match but will now miss a month of action after injuring himself when falling badly.

He’s now taken to social media to insist the latest injury setback will only make him stronger.

He wrote on Instagram: “It ain’t gonna stop me. Thank you for your support, culers Small stone that will make me even stronger. The wins and excitement remain intact. We are all together in this last stretch of the year. Go Barça.”

Barca won’t see Olmo again this year but the hope is that he will be fit and ready to play in the Spanish Super Cup at the start of 2026.

In the meantime, Fermin Lopez will likely take over from Olmo. He’s also been injured recently but is due back and could feature next week against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.
